Wallonia: grants for carbon studies

Thursday, June 2, the government of Wallonia adopted a decree on carbon study grants launched by companies.

The initiative echoes the COP21.
This new provision concerns Walloon companies that join a sector agreement (contract which commits the industry to improve energy efficiency and reduce their CO2).

If a company begins to achieve a CO2 mapping to find out the direct and indirect emissions of its society, and thus to determine which production cycles generate the most emissions and what measures would be applicable to decrease, it can benefit financial assistance of up to 50% (in the limit of 10 000 euros).
