Intermediate housing
Since 2014, the ERAFP has committed to financing residential real estate projects for public sector employees in areas with high housing pressure. In the coming years, several hundred housing units will be built thanks to ERAFP investments.
What is intermediate housing?
Designed for households struggling to find housing in major cities, "intermediate housing" refers to rental units with rent levels falling between the social housing sector and the private market. The goal is straightforward: to provide solutions for middle-income households that do not qualify for social housing yet lack the income to consider private-market rentals or homeownership.
In concrete terms, who can benefit from housing built and reserved by ERAFP?
This booking system is accessible to all public sector employees—whether civil servants or contract staff—across all three branches of the civil service who are currently employed at the time of the request.
How do I access the available offers?
To access the housing offers reserved by the ERAFP, simply:
- connect to the site: https://www.cdc-habitat.fr/fonctionpublique
- create a personal account,
- create "alerts" based on your search criteria,
- consult the offers of reserved and available accommodation corresponding to their criteria,
- apply for.
MEMO Seven months prior to the handover of the residences reserved by the ERAFP, an information package becomes available to staff members who have created an account on the website and requested updates on available residences in a specific geographic area. |
