Priority climate data for 2016

Wednesday, January 20, Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced to MEPs climate priorities for 2016.
The Minister first called the European Union ratified as soon as possible the Paris agreement adopted at the COP21.
Laurent Fabius also asked MEPs to implement the "climate and energy package in 2030".
Four priorities "climate", 4P, have been announced for 2016:
- the process of signing and ratifying the Paris agreement April 22 in New York,
- clarifications to be made to the Paris Agreement,
- Pre-2020 action in the public and private sectors with the continuation of the action plan Lima-Paris, the cities of coalitions, business and state,
- the preparation of the COP 22 in Marrakech.
Laurent Fabius also spoke on the expected progress in other areas not mentioned in the climate negotiations, including aviation.
ENERGY TRANSITION law: PROGRESS
The information mission on the implementation of the energy transition completed its law office, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 and will begin its work "early February".
